Bee Box was established in the wake of the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake, which rocked our small coastal town to its core. A container mall was established on a newly vacant piece of land on the main street of town. We set up shop.

Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control, we had to close our doors on Monday 22nd January 2024, and all of the containers in the mall were gone by Friday 26th. It’s been an incredible journey serving our wonderful community here in Kaikoura, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to all of our customers and every one who has been a part of the Bee Box team over the years.

We are still growing and developing our online offering and community to stay in touch and we'll keep you updated about new products and future plans.
